Eye-drop schedule
- Commonly an antibiotic plus an anti-inflammatory/steroid drop, sometimes tapered over weeks. This varies by procedure and patient — always follow the printed schedule your surgeon gives you.
- Wash hands before touching your eye or the dropper. Don't let the tip touch your eye or eyelashes. Leave a short gap between different drops.
Do's and don'ts
- Do wear any protective shield as instructed, especially while sleeping. Do attend every follow-up visit.
- Don't rub or press the operated eye. Don't swim or expose it to dust/dirt until cleared. Don't drive until your surgeon confirms your vision has recovered.

- Sudden or worsening pain (rather than gradually improving)
- Sudden decrease in vision
- Increasing redness, swelling, or discharge
- New flashes, floaters, or a curtain/shadow across vision
